Prescription Refills.

Pharmacy Refill Requests.

All refills require an appointment.

Staff will not take messages for your physician to refill any medications.  Please plan ahead and book your refill appointment at least 14 days before you run out.  Please either check your medication bottle, or call your pharmacist. They will tell you how many refills you have left.

Physicians are not able to send refills to pharmacies outside of Alberta.

eBooking:

You may request an appointment time through our new CHR Portal. At this time these types of visits are ONLY to request a prescription refill that requires no changes and that does not involve any mental health concerns. No other concerns will be addressed at these appointments.

If you run out of your medication, in most cases your pharmacy will be able to extend your prescription a few days to allow you to get an appointment booked with your physician.  On occasion they will fax your physician to request a refill for you, please be aware that if your physician does honour this request it will only be for a limited number of days (usually 30 days).

This is to give you the chance to get an appointment booked with your physician.  Repeated pharmacy refill requests for the same medication will not be honored.

Dr. Dunlop will not refill any prescriptions requested by a pharmacy.

Please plan your refill appointments accordingly.

Abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, either over-the-phone or in person.
