Alberta Screening and Prevention (ASaP)

The purpose of ASaP is to offer screening and prevention to all patients through opportunistic and planned outreach (targeting patients who do not present for screening care), as explained by ACTT (Accelerating Change Transformation Team) of the AMA.
These are considered as Age Appropriate Screening Maneuvers.
Screening Maneuvers for Adults 2023
*Change in 2022 from the previous starting age of 50.
The age and interval of given information is suitable for the general population. Age range is inclusive of the upper and lower ages. E.g., 40-74 means the day a person turns 40 until the day before they turn 75.
The needs of individual persons will vary.
Abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, either over-the-phone or in person.
